Below is a listing of the sculptures David has designed and created since 1975. Over the years he has used different methods of powering the motion. The early pieces were powered by harnessing the energy of a descending weight. Later he switched to using a constant force spring. The power source is included in the list.

Also noted is the size of the edition. This varies from piece to piece and year to year. It takes several years to make an entire edition and it's rare that he makes the full edition. There are always new sculptures to add so something has to be dropped.

The Portfolio contains photographs of all sculptures still available. The archive listing below contains listings of all sculptures - both those that are available and those that are sold out. All sculptures are produced either as limited edition sculptures or as one-of-a-kind work. After Dave has built the number specified in the edition, he makes no more of that design. These pieces are no longer available from Wood That Works although some of the later ones may still be available from the galleries.
