This is the longest running sculpture I have produced to date at just over 24 hours. The large, massive, patterning wheels rotate slowly in opposite directions creating a hypnotic yet soothing centering motion. There is a very quiet and somewhat irregular clicking sound as the wood pawls are raised and lowered.

The rear wheel eventually slows down, reverses and triggers the double drive mechanism. I've shown this in the animation but keep in mind that it happens over a longer period of time.
