This page shows an alternative mechanism that will allow the placement of a Variation series sculpture higher on a wall yet still have the winding wheels within reach. This was a problem with my original mechanism in some locations like the over the mantel location shown below.

I will build Variation-Water series piece with either mechanism. The edition number will stay at the same limit of 9.
